JOB SUMMARY: Provides leadership to initiatives related to diversity councils, employee resource groups, community outreach, training & education, ee engagement & patient care throughout CC. Participates in efforts to formulate strategies & provides direction for the work of diversity & inclusion at CC. Conducts evaluations of programs through quantitative & qualitative data analysis to measure effectiveness of diversity-related initiatives. Works with the Division, CC & externally to extend CC's brand.

Job Responsibilities: Develops and provides leadership to community outreach programs to extend Cleveland Clinic's brand to underrepresented minorities. Represents Cleveland Clinic's commitment to diversity and inclusion internally and externally with academic institutions, non-profits, community agencies, and schools. Collaborates and provides strategic counsel and logistical guidance on the execution of diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs. Provides leadership to Employee Resource Groups and Diversity Councils to increase employee engagement and positively impact the patient experience. Conducts ongoing assessment of programs and initiatives through quantitative and qualitative data collection for the measurement of effectiveness. Reports statistics and makes recommendations accordingly. Able to utilize leadership assessment tools, scorecards and data to develop future programs. Promotes the mission, vision and cornerstone values of the organization to internal and external stakeholders. Conducts cultural competency training throughout the system. Measures learning outcomes, reports statistics and makes recommendations accordingly. Identifies and provides leadership to implementing programs designed to elevate the knowledge-base of languages to support greater communication with patients and employees. Other duties as assigned.

Education: Master's Degree in business, human resources management, education, psychology & diversity management or closely-related field providing knowledge of all aspects of diversity, organizational behavior, organizational development and analysis, communications and information systems.

Licensure/Certification/ Registration: None Required

Experience: Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in a diversity leadership or related type of role with at least two years of leadership experience in diversity programs. Must be able to relate across all levels of systems, manage multiple projects, facilitate community relations or related human services. functions. Bilingual - Spanish (a plus); Supplier Diversity experience (a plus).
