Job Details:
This position is for Internal Employees in Central Processing Only.
Summary: Provides formal training, on-the-job training and orientation of new employees. Assists the supervisor with the development and administration of exams and evaluates trainee's overall job knowledge and performance. Assists in revising and updating operational and procedural manuals. Assists supervisor with personnel responsibilities. Performs duties of Technician.
Job Responsibilities: Assists with the supervision of the Technicians. Monitors and orders laboratory supplies to ensure adequate levels are maintained. Provides technical assistance in assigned laboratory section. Assumes the duties of a supervisor in his or her absence Other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Minimum of two years technician experience. Minimum two years of progressively responsible work experience. Bachelor's Degree may offset experience requirement. Supervisory or leadership experience and use of MISYS , Lastword and Epic database programs preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: None
Physical Requirements: Requires full body motion and ability to push or carry up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity to operate computer and frequent standing and walking. Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.
