Job Details:
Summary: Performs scheduled deliveries and pick-ups at all perimeter locations according to established route/schedule. Establishes and maintains positive client relations. Performs daily preventive maintenance of assigned vehicle.
Job Responsibilities: Picks up and delivers according to established route/schedule and verifies that the delivery has been completed properly. Documents that all items are picked up and delivered. Scans barcodes and obtains signatures where appropriate. Submits daily route sheets, accident reports, maintenance records and milage reports. Checks all vehicle fluid levels daily. Performs basic safety checks of mechanical operations; reports any malfunctions and problems to the Section Leader for correction. Delivers to designated areas using appropriate handling, storage and transportation methods. Establishes and maintains positive client relations Other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience: One year of experience as a courier is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have a valid State driver’s license (VDL), a good driving record, obtain and maintain eligibility as determined by CCF's insurance carrier's requirments to operate Foundation vehicles.
Physical Requirements: Typical physical demands include full body motion including ability to lift and transport medium weight materials up to 100 lbs. Ability to spend long hours driving and working in all weather conditions.
