Job Title

Foundation Assistant Director

The Foundation Assistant Director will assist the Executive Director in the management of all aspects of fundraising for the Foundation; including major gifts, planned giving, corporate giving, annual fund, special events, grants and publications.  Administration of Raiser’s Edge data base.  Assumes primary responsibility for the annual gala, golf outing, grants, annual and planned giving.  Assists with ongoing capital campaign. Works closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, Philanthropy Committee, volunteers and other staff and consultants.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and five years of fundraising experience, with 3 years supervisory experience.  Raiser’s Edge software and Microsoft Office experience required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including outstanding presentation skills, strong analytical skills and a broad awareness of community philanthropic resources. Experience in managing, writing and publishing brochures and annual reports is a strong plus.  Must be a team player who is able to work autonomously and is highly resourceful and creative.
