Job Details: Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Director of Professional Affairs, assist in onboarding recruitment process and orientation of new Staff to the Cleveland Clinic. Acts as key contact by coordinating and providing appropriate information to staff from pre-hire through start date. Works closely with the Director of Staff leadership development in coordination of orientation and development programs. Job Responsibilities: Acts as the key contact person for new Staff during onboarding and orientation by creating and providing individualized orientation schedules and information necessary for their successful acclimation to CCF. Provides information on key contacts, policy and procedures and benefits explanation, ID badge, key and parking information, and internal and external resources deemed helpful to newly hired Staff. Provides assistance to new Staff by coordinating, providing information, and advising them on licensure process. Works closely with Institute and Department leadership to assure all steps are taken and provide new Staff with a seamless transition to CCF. Functions as a liaison with inter and intra organizational units and individuals. Interprets requests and assists with implementing required action. Responds to requests for information concerning organizational procedures, programs and other activities and functions. Schedules meetings, conferences, appointments, conference calls, interviews, etc. Other duties as assigned. Education: Strong working knowledge of the Cleveland Clinic and its operations including knowledge of the medical/scientific staff and the departmental and divisional structure. Strong organizational skills to deal with the myriad of planning activities associated with the position; must possess independent judgement; strong interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with all levels of Professional Staff members; ability to address a wide array of concerns, present information clearly and build trust and confidence. Experience: Minimum five years in an administrative support role, preferably within the Cleveland Clinic to include coordination of diverse activities, interaction with various organizational units, conflict resolution and dealing with highly confidential and organizationally sensitive matters.
