Summary: Manages financial side of medical offices, inpatient facilities and outpatient facilities. Provides financial planning, organization, budget analysis and business plan development.
Job Responsibilities: Provides oversight for business applications including financial reporting, billing,reimbursement, informatics, and outside business ventures. Develops, implements and assists with the administration, management and policy of the Division; assists with development and implementation of financial strategic plans, assists with interpretation of Divisional policies. Integrates activities to complete short and long-term planning. Develops and monitors cost accounting standards and systems; provides input to corporate level reporting systems; performs statistical analysis and correlates between various patient activity measures and cost or revenue indicators. Monitors the business activity and performance of off-site ventures and practices. Prepares feasibility studies related to new business ventures; ensures all ventures support the overall mission and strategies. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field.
Experience: Minimum three years financial and business management experience. Experience analyzing and developing policies, procedures and contracts preferred. Additional formal education may substitute for some required experience.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity to operate office equipment. Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds. May require extended periods of standing, walking or sitting. Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision.
