GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Department Head, The Social Worker is a Licensed Professional who provides Clinical Social Work Intervention and consultative services to assist patients and families with personal, social, emotional, environmental difficulties which cause social and personal maladjustments or which predispose the individual toward illness or interfere with obtaining maximum benefits from medical care.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold a Master's Degree from a C.S.W.E. approved School of Social Work.

Must be licensed in Ohio as either a Licensed Social Worker or preferably a Licensed Independent Social Worker. Must demonstrate at least 30 hours of continuing education every two years in accordance with Licensure Regulations

One or two years of social work practice in a healthcare setting
