JOB SUMMARY: Performs operational analysis; evaluates and develops systems and operating procedures to achieve maximum efficiency and estimate patient outcomes. Ensures that all clinical staff have the necessary

materials (equipment, supplies, etc.) required to perform their assigned roles. Serves as a liaison to affiliates,

transport vendors, contracted employees, and suppliers. Plans, organizes and manages expansion, relocation

and remodeling of current and new facilities and medical practices. Functions clinically as Registered Nurse or

Nurse Practitioner in departmental operations as necessary.

Job Responsibilities: Oversees the development and coordination of productivity and quality performance measurement systems. Responsible for all management activities of select operational staff, including non-clinical operations. Assists in preparation and oversight of operational and capital budget for assigned functional units. Completes cost benefit analysis on potential procedural changes and new programs. Maintains budget variance at

acceptable level. Implements processes to meet strategic planning goals. Provides oversight for critical departmental projects and initiatives. Implements operational changes to assure compliance with program requirements educate investigators in program changes and requirements and provide summary material to key individuals. Meets regularly with counterparts in transport partner organizations. Coordinates operations to serve needs of partner organizations with departmental operations and organizational goals to provide optimal patient outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: Master's Degree required. Master's Degree in Nursing preferred. Requires knowledge of budgeting, cost

analysis, manpower planning, supervision and operational analysis. Requires understanding of basic

principles of research, transport, safety, public relations, and critical care triage.

Licensure/certification/ registration: RN License or Acute Care Nursing Practioner in the state of Ohio.

Required Experience: Minimum three years experience and good understanding of medical transport industry. This experience must include a minimum of 2 year’s experience of management experience in a medical practice or hospital to include budgeting, forecasting, cost effectiveness, planning and management of space and equipment and

staff management.

Physical Requirements: Requires extensive computer entry, sitting, standing and walking. Requires the ability to walk to attend meetings. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a PC. Must have normal or corrected vision to normal range and the ability to verbally communicate to employees and
