JOB SUMMARY: This position is a lead operational analyst for Operational Support Services and is responsible for executing key internal finance functions and operational integration to the Division Finance Manager while supporting individual Senior Department Directors for development of detailed operational analyses and special projects. This position is also responsible for maintenance, improving efficiency, and use of all budget and variance analysis tools and products. The individual will interface with various levels of management and alliance partners to achieve desired results. Responsibilities include information and data collection, analyses, reconciliation, review, financial function execution, process and product improvement, project development, team building, and training on system reports and output.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Masters's Degree with an emphasis in Business Administration or Finance required. Exceptional knowledge/understanding of basic accounting principles, financial statements, forecasting, budget development, and financial systems. (A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and an additional 2 years experience may substitute for the Master's Degree requirement). Ability to prepare presentations, proposals and make recommendations from analytic findings to and on behalf of Senior and Executive Management. Ability to utilize internet to research data as required, demonstrating advanced capability including familiarity with healthcare related sites. Ability to develop effective business reports and proposals, e-mail, interdepartment correspondence, and special projects. Strong working knowledge of health care or business management sufficient to perform in-depth research, analytical studies, report preparation, generation of recommendations and development of business plans. Demonstrated financial and operational management skills and leadership. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary professional and technical staff and to maintain high degree of confidentiality, as well as work independently to ensure project completion. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in operations and finance. This experience will include project leadership and functional program leadership. Significant experience in financial analyses, reporting within a multi-disciplinary organziational and operational structure required. Extensive experience in Finance and/or Financial, Operational, or Strategic analysis and reporting of results to senior leadership required. CPA/CMA/HFMA certification preferred. Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, normal or corrected vision, extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying 5 to 15 pounds.

Capital construction experience is a plus.
