Summary: Coordinates multiple ACGME and Non-ACGME programs.

Job Responsibilities: Provides support to the Program Directors and key clinical staff with the administration of accredited and non-accredited educational training programs including, but not limited to, fellowship and residency programs. Coordinates activities and functions related to the fellowship educational programs including, but not limited to, orientation, graduation, recruitment and scheduling of fellows. Assists the program director in ensuring compliance with the Accredited Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), institutional, and program policies. Maintains accurate documentation related to, but not limited to, trainees' duty hours, procedures, research projects, training requirements, conference attendance, schedules and absences. Alerts program directors of any deficiencies that would negatively impact compliance with ACGME requirements. Provides support to the program directors for multiple activities and tasks including, but not limited to, development and updating of goals/objectives and curriculum, coordinating teaching conferences and lectures and budgeting. Provides support to the program directors in coordinating all recruitment related functions. Coordinates and maintains multiple schedules. Documents, tracks and communicates schedule changes, including but not limited to absences and clinic cancellations, to appropriate individuals and departments. Coordinates and tracks evaluations and duty hours using the institutional database, MedHub. Regularly contacts staff and house-staff to complete MedHub evaluations, duty hours, and other required items in MedHub and tracks compliance. Other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Education preferred.

Experience: Minimum three years in a hospital or education setting dealing with administration of education, training programs, medical education, special projects or related areas. Prior experience demonstrating the ability to independently set priorities, meet deadlines, plan and execute projects. Bachelor's degree in business administration or education may substitute for some years of experience.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: None.

Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity to operate a personal computer and other office equipment. Normal or corrective vision. Extensive sitting and frequent walking. Occasional lifting or carrying of up to 10 pounds. Extensive exchange of verbal communication by phone and in person.
