Summary: Assists the Director with the coordination of departmental services encompassing the resident, intern and student training programs.
Job Responsibilities: Develops and maintains all rotation schedules and calendars per specialty-specific curricula. Manages performance evaluation process. Assists with the marketing of training programs and the recruitment and orientation of GME program candidates. Oversees departmental compliance with medical licensing agencies and instititutional policies, including maintenance of all required documentation. Provides administrative support and coordination for department, including coordinating meetings and planning special events. Other duties as assigned.
Education: High school diploma. Bachelor's degree in management, social science, or eduction preferred.
Experience: At least three years experience in a GME department in a teaching hospital.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: None.
