Summary: Supports service line reporting initiatives for health system. Assists with the monthly review of service line financial data to ensure data integrity. Will work with other analysts to develop service line reporting skills and techniques within the institutes.
Job Responsibilities: Prepare, analyze and review service line reports for executive leadership, institute leadership and others. Partners with institute and hospital leadership to define institute specific service lines. Works with institute and hospital analysts to develop service line reporting skills and techniques. Uses Web Intelligence reporting tool to support service line reporting initiatives. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics. In-depth knowledge and understanding of financial analysis and cost accounting techniques.
Experience: Three years experience in healthcare or financial analysis position.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: None
Physical Requirements: Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, normal or corrected vision, extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.
