THIS POSITION WILL BE IN DEPARTMENT REGIONAL RADIOLOGY.
This position will be responsible for safe monitoring and management of imaging nursing in the Regional Hospitals. The position will be based out of Cleveland Clinic Administrative Campus (CCAC) in Beachwood, but will require frequent travel to the regional hospitals.
Summary: Establishes the clinical direction for nursing care delivery, provides clinical supervision and is responsible for clinical outcomes. Responsible for all aspects of personnel and development. Responsible for attaining and maintaining adherence to prescribed regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities: Works directly and in collaboration with the Nursing Director of the Imaging Institute, to ensure the practice of professional nursing care and manages the delivery of care. Collaborates with liaison department in maintaining patient care standards. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of patient care. Develops and maintains adherence to patient care standards through continuous quality improvement. Conducts selection and termination process for employees. Coordinates formal and informal communication systems. Identifies goals and develops strategic plan for achievement, evaluates achievement and generates annual report. Ensures a safe and therapeutic patient care delivery environment. Monitors and adheres to annual hospital operating budget. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to insure compliance with budget guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
Education: BSN or MSN required.
Experience: Three years experience as a clinical nurse to include one year of management.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure as an Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires some exposure to communicable disease and body fluids. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
