Job Details:
Summary: Coordinates and monitors departmental activities and provides effective utilization of personnel, policies, and procedures in order to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment.
Job Responsibilities: Continuously inspects assigned areas to assure high quality of cleaning and maintenance is being performed by staff. Monitors staffing levels and staff work assignments. Coordinates and supervises daily operations of the department. Trains and counsels staff. Delivers in-services and competencies. Supervises staff, evaluates performance. Recommends and helps implement approved disciplinary action. Assists Director in ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, policies and regulations. Other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Two to three years prior experience in environmental services or housekeeping field. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: None required.
Physical Requirements: Dexterity sufficient to perform all tasks as listed below. Ability to lift materials weighing between 35-70 lbs. Ability to perform duties while walking, standing, stooping and lifting.
