Job Details:
Summary: Provides Financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics and standard/ ad hoc reporting to support the needs of the enterprise. Also may include responsibility for standard general ledger reconciliations, expense analysis and/or chargemaster.
Job Responsibilities: Prepares, analyzes and communicates key financial information and provides support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues. Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes. Assists with budget review for compliance and opportunities. Serves as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures. Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including necessary research, forecasting and conflict resolution. Other duties as assigned
Education: Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience. Healthcare experience preferred. Master's Degree may offset some experience. Ability to complete complex analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation. Demonstrated critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated understanding of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred.
Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity required to operate computer. Must be able to travel and attend out of area conferences. Requires frequent sitting, standing and walking.
