Summary: Ensures completion of overall project deliverables on smaller scope projects. Manages project budget, schedule, scope, quality and risk to achieve business objective. Analyzes project performance timelines and dependencies; implements corrective actions. Manages project work plan, resolves project issues, mitigates strategies for project risks and manages project resources. Provides proactive project communications to the project owner.
Job Responsibilities: Serves as project lead on smaller scope or departmental initiatives. Participates as team member on larger scope initiatives. Establish document standard project-planning terminology; phases, milestones, tasks. Define project requirements according to management established standards; scope, schedule, resources, budget, deliverables. Identify project deliverables, requirements and construct project plans. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Management Information Systems or related degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of one year project management and one year technical experience in a large complex health care organization required. Additional project management and technical experience in a large complex health care organization may offset degree. Must have experience creating and maintaining a project plan from inception through completion. Must have experience creating and maintaining a project plan from inception through completion. Licensure/Certification/Registration: None
Physical Requirements: Frequent sitting and standing, normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech. Manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a personal computer. Requires the ability to walk to various locations and to function in a stressful environment.
