Job Details: Summary: Oversee and manage assigned applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs. Acts as a liaison with CCCA faculty, supervising home-based (lay) therapists in the home. With the Coord. of Outreach the behavior therapist will provide consultation to families, agencies and school districts. Collect raw data for research and program advancement. Must adhere to policies, maintain responsibility for qualify improvement activities, and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities: In conjunction with Coordinator of Outreach Services: develop an individualized therapy program, train, observe and assess client’s staff/tutors; attend necessary meetings and update curriculum on an on-going basis for each assigned patient. The Behavior Therapist will train and assist tutors in understanding the design and implementation of behavioral programming. Work directly with Coordinator of Outreach Services and/or Program Director to provide consultations to clients. Participate with Program Director and Outreach Coordinator in developing written materials for both professional and lay consumers as well as small and large group presentations and training. Complete patient progress records in a timely fashion, per consumer contract. In conjunction with Outreach Coordinator and/or Senior Behavior Therapist as appropriate, provide training in ABA and ongoing assessments for school district personnel per consumer contract. Collect and interpret data for ongoing research where deemed appropriate. Assist in the facilitation of the Asperger’s Social Skills group in conjunction with clinical psychologist and other team members. Other duties as assigned.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field from an accredited institution. Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills working with children, families, schools, and other professionals must be demonstrated. Demonstrated organizational skills and computer literacy is a must.

Experience: At least one year of documented experience implementing ABA techniques is required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Course work towards the acquisition of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificate preferred.

Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting students, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination, physically able to manage students of varying weight and sizes. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
