Job Details: - $100,000/300,000 auto insurance coverage
- CPR (we ONLY accept AHA's Health Care Provider card)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Valid OH Driver's License
- 2 years clinical experience preferred
GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides supervision, assessment, planning and direct patient care to hospice patients in accordance with the agency policies and procedures and the plan of care established by the interdisciplinary team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. A.D.N. or B.S.N. program preferred.
Required Length and Type of Experience
2 years of critical care and/or oncology experience preferred.
Infusion therapy experience preferred.
Required Licensure, Certification or Registry
Current licensure as a RN in the State of Ohio
Current CPR certification required
Must have reliable transportation
Valid Ohio Driver’s license upon hire; per policy 8-175 thereafter
Proof of automobile insurance coverage with $100,000/$300,000 coverage, upon hire; per policy 8-175 thereafter.
Must obtain the Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Certification within three years of hire date (required for full and part time employees only)
Required Physical and Environmental Demands
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting packages, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions and working irregular hours. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
