Job Details:
Summary: Implements specific curricula designed to work toward each child's individual education plan goals; monitors programs and provides student supervision.
Job Responsibilities: Trains and mentors newly hired therapists, Facilitates seminar training and in services Gathers and submits data for research and professional presentations Identifies and operationalizes interfering behavior for teacher Acquires data and implements behavioral technology programs Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in special education, education, speech, psychology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, medicine, art therapy, music therapy, or related field.
Experience: One year experience as a CBT at CCCA. An exception may be made for applicants with two or more years experience using applied behavior analysis in the treatment of autism.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: None
Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting students, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination, physically able to manage students of varying weight and sizes. Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing.
