Summary: Provides Financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data analysis, metrics and standard/ad hoc reporting to support the needs of the enterprise. Also may include responsibility for complex general ledger reconciliations, expense analysis and/or chargemaster.
Job Responsibilities: Prepares, analyzes and communicates key financial information and provides support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues. Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes. Assists with budget review for compliance and opportunities. Serves as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures. Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including necessary research, forecasting and conflict resolution. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business or related field. Masters degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of four years finance, revenue cycle management or general analytical experience. Healthcare experience preferred. Masters degree may offset some required experience. Ability to complete sophisticated analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills, decisive judgment and the ability to lead projects and people. Strong understanding of complex key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred.
Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity sufficient to operate computer. Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds. May require extended periods of standing, walking or sitting. Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision.
