Summary: Responsible for all aspects of project and provides a single point of contact for the projects. Leads/manages multiple medium to large size projects, leveraging advanced project management tools to deliver results. Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.
Job Responsibilities: Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change. Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and otherstakeholders. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years project management experience in assigned area which may include experience in implementing and supporting a major IT system in a clinical or system analyst capacity, experience involving complex financial system applications, etc. Experience creating and maintaining a project plan from inception through completion. Effective relationship building skills are required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Project Management Certification preferred.
Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity to operate office equipment. May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings. Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person. Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites.
