Position Summary:

Food Service Workers perform various food and beverage related tasks. All Food Service Workers prepare food and drink items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards with maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. This position requires individuals with a high attention to detail, accurate cashier skills and strong dedication to customer service with a positive attitude.

Functions:

• Greet guests as they arrive and depart.
• Serve snacks and drinks in a professional manner.
• Ensure proper handling of all food products and equipment is maintained at all times.
• Maintain a daily bank and be accountable for all transactions.
• Handle cash, proficient in counting money and providing guest with proper change whenever needed.
• Dispose of trash and clean all areas of snack bar.
• Perform any opening and closing side work as required.
• Maintain on-site refrigerator, counter space, espresso machine and other snack bar equipment.
• May be required to keep an inventory of stock.
• Diplomatically handle guest complaints.
• Report to work on time and in complete uniform.
• Other duties as assigned.

Status & Scope:

• Report to the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Position requires ability to multi-task and have a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

• Meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Have valid TIPs card to work at a snack bar serving alcohol
• Complete Serve Safe Food Handlers certification.
• Fluent in the English language both spoken & written. Have ability to read & interpret documents such as safety rules, regulations, operating & maintenance instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills required (add, subtract, multiply & divide).
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Lifting Requirements:

• Light - Lifting 20 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 10 lbs
