Job Details:
Summary: Leads various types of aerobics programs and activities, including but not limited to: cardio-interval, stretch and flex, dynaband, spinning, kickboxing, power-flex, basic step, step interval, bootcamp, exerball, resistance training, core strength, muscle conditioning and body sculpt/toning classes.
Job Responsibilities: Continual supervision of all fitness/aerobics areas during class times to provide a safe, effective and motivating environment for physical activity. Set up facility for any activity that is needed for assigned class. Remain flexible in staffing patterns and resolution of staffing conflicts Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum two years experience working as an aerobics instructor within a fitness/wellness facility. At least 1 year teaching expertise in specialty area required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Appropriate certification as determined by classes, i.e., NDEITA, ACE, or any current professional certification from a nationally recognized organization in the health/fitness industry.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to physically execute all classes. Ability to pickup a 25 pound weight.
