Job Details:
Assists physician in the preservation and evaluation of organs for transplantation. Assists physician with bench surgery. Participates in organ harvesting and transportation. Maintains laboratory environment and supplies. Assists with related research projects. Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, chemistry and medical terminology gained through formal schooling or through related technical work in a laboratory or surgical setting. Knowledge of basic arithmetic sufficient to perform job duties. Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently.Minimum one year experience in a health care setting in related technical work involving a laboratory or surgical setting. None. Manual dexterity to use surgical equipment and to assist with surgical procedures. Normal or corrected vision. Must be able to be on call on a regular basis on weekends and during the week.
