EXPERIENCE WITH EPIC IS A MUST!!!
Summary: Utilizes medical and administrative skills to provide support to patients and health care staff.
Job Responsibilities: Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing assessments and assessing treatments by contacting recently discharged Cleveland Clinic hospital patients via telephone Performs basic diagnostic procedures over phone and documents patient advice provided. Documents changes in patient condition. Ensures the patient is taking the medications prescribed by the Physician. Interacts with all callers in a professional and courteous manner in an effort to establish a therapeutic rapport . Follows established interview process and the specific survey guidelines and documents interactions using appropriate grammar and spelling. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program. Current demonstrated clinical proficiency with phlebotomy required, proficiency in EKG desired. Completion of a clinical externship. Experience: Minimum of one year health care experience in a similar setting. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Medical Assistant. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification Must complete Level C Health Care Provider training during new hire period.
Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity to operate office equipment. May require extended periods of sitting. Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision and good audio acuity.
