Job Details: Summary: Responsible and accountable for the daily supervision of a research lab, including space, equipment, personnel, and project management. Job Responsibilities: Assists staff investigator with innovative input into experimental design and planning/developing of technical aspects of research projects. Plans, organizes, performs and monitors daily project protocols. Collects, prepares and maintains required research documentation, including informed consent records, case records, clinical notes and medical reports. Reports and assists with the management of protocol deviations, adverse events and other project-related issues. Assists with the preparation and delivery of internal/external presentations, conference reports/lectures, and publishing submissions. Other duties as assigned. Education: Master's Degree in an appropriate scientific field such as Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, or other similar science major. Must be innovative in designing and developing techniques and familiar with maintaining budgets. -OR- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate science major such as Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or other similar science major, and a minimum of four years of progressively more responsible and independent experience in a CCF research section or other similar environment within the field of academic training. Experience: A minimum of two years of research laboratory experience, which has developed the ability to work independently on a variety of research projects, demonstrated through a thorough understanding of research laboratory techniques and procedures. Licensure/Certification/Registration: None required. Physical Requirements: Requirements include good near visual acuity and color acuity.
