Summary: Lead Continuous Improvement plan development and implementation for Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Institute across CCHS functions.
Job Responsibilities: Build and implement a strategic CI plan for Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Institute. Directly manages any additional CI Embeds within the organization and indirectly manages project resources to complete various initiatives. Maintains open communication with leadership and front line personnel. Implement and sustain Qboards and Business Reviews at frontline, department, and division level. Coordinates throughout Institute in collaboration with CI virtual team to ensure ongoing continuous improvement. Maintains open communication with CI core team to continue skill and program development. Performs process improvement project organization, analysis and implementation. Utilizes scheduling, project task lists, milestone tracking/reporting and standard processes used within the CI Department. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
Experience: Ten years business experience with at least three years experience managing or leading teams or a department. Demonstrated ability to implement business mgmt. tools at all levels of the organization and manage two implementations at once.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Green Belt, Shingo Bronze, PMP or similar work experience required.
Physical Requirements: High degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, normal or corrected vision, extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying of up to 25 pounds.
