GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Project Manager, the position supports the goals of the finance department. Responsibilities include application development, web reporting using reporting services, data structure analysis, quality assurance, and ongoing maintenance of existing applications, other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent analytical skills along with verbal and written communication skills. Able to work under tight deadlines. Minimum skills required to be successful will include; Experience with .net programming environment Able to understand complex problems and goals as they relate to strategy. Expert at gathering requirements and specifications from the end user, along with documentation. Expert at security concepts and implications. Able to accurately estimate development effort. Considerable experience with Microsoft SQL server. Able to understand complex goals and multiple project dependencies. Understanding of user interface design and user functionality. Able to interpret user requirements and integrate it with competing requirements. Understanding of code management process. Able to make creative suggestions to improve the processes. Preferred candidates will have experience using .net, c++, along with bachelors in computer science or related discipline, and or equivalent work experience. Masters preferred.
Required Length and Type of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in SQL/Programming environment or related discipline.
Required Licensure, Certification or Registry: Microsoft Certification preferred.
Required Physical and Environmental Demands: Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, normal or corrected vision, extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying 5 to 10 pounds.
